The par-3 8th hole at Royal Troon played only 100 yards on Saturday at the 145th Open Championship, but the Postage Stamp gave players fits playing over par for the day.
No one was more frustrated by his score on the 8th hole than Tony Finau. Coming off of a double bogey on the 7th hole, Finau stepped to the tee and ripped a wedge right at the pin. Unfortunately, his shot was too good. It bounced off of the pin and spun back all the way into the bunker short of the green.
From near ecstasy to agony for @tonyfinaugolf at the Postage Stamp. #TheOpenhttps://t.co/2hHds53Vx1

Finau was unable to get up-and-down from the bunker and ended up making a bogey when he thought momentarily there was a chance he'd be marking down a hole-in-one.
