LPGA Tour player Natalie Gulbis considering run for public office in Nevada
From entertaining the public with her golf to serving them?
Natalie Gulbis was in Washington this week. We know that much from her Twitter feed. According to The Nevada Independent, part of the reason is because Gulbis is considering running for office in Nevada.
Gulbis is reportedly considering running as a Republican for Rep. Jacky Rosen's seat in Nevada's third congressional district if Rosen goes for the U.S. Senate.

"This was a top pickup opportunity even before Rosen vacated this seat -- but Natalie Gulbis' interest shows the field of Republicans in the Third is growing even more impressive," one national GOP source told The Independent. "Republicans are excited about Gulbis, with her unique backstory and profile, while Democrats have no heir apparent in the Third. Lots of reasons to be confident about our chances here."
Gulbis, who only won one time on the LPGA Tour, spoke at at the Republican National Convention on behalf of her pal Donald Trump.
"He encouraged me to think of myself not as a female athlete but as a business person," Gulbis said at the time. "In everything you do, be fearless. I believe this is the greatest time to be a woman in the greatest country in the history of the world, but I have no delusions that there isn't a mess to clean up. And we desperately need someone to clean up that mess. That person is Donald Trump."
Gulbis apparently might soon be helping him in government.
