Tiger Woods is now apparently taking swing tips from 6-year-old son
Tiger Woods is soliciting part of his son Charlie's swing. Is that a good thing? Fire takes in 3...2...1...
I'm not sure whether this is amazing or infuriating, but Tiger Woods is apparently taking swing tips from his son Charlie. Woods noted this in his press conference at the Memorial on Wednesday.
Tiger Woods told media he sees parts of his son Charlie's swing that he's trying to emulate. Now that's classic.

In related news, Tiger on son Charlie’s swing: “He’s got some parts of his swing I’m trying to do."

That's sort of funny, I suppose, and great if it works. But the real issue here is that Big Cat still seems a little lost with his swing ("it's still evolving, but getting better" is the stock answer).
Steve Williams noted that Tiger has always struggled with his swing in his Golf Digest interview that I've now cited 293 times.
Again and again over the years, Tiger would say, "I want to own my swing, not rent it." Nobody I saw in my 35 years on tour tried harder to own his swing than Tiger. He was obsessed with always getting better. The irony is, by changing coaches so much, it led to him renting several swings instead of owning just one, which upset his original goal. But he was very good at renting.
Now he's renting parts from a six-year-old.
