It has been quite a week for Hideto Tanihara. He made it all the way to the semifinals of the WGC-Dell Match Play Championship, punched his ticket for the 2017 Masters and made the fourth ace in Match Play history.

Tanihara was playing the par-3 7th hole at Austin Country Club when his 8-iron hit short and rolled all the way to (and into) the cup. It never left the line he took and rattled home for the “1.”

The ace put Tanihara 1 up on Bill Haas in the third place match on Sunday. Tanihara previously defeated Paul Casey and Ross Fisher in the knockout rounds before losing to Dustin Johnson in the semifinals.
