Tiger Woods' second round at the Hero World Challenge started a lot like his first round. That is to say, Woods got out hot on Friday just like he did on Thursday. The difference in Round 2 is that he didn't fall apart in the middle like he did on Thursday. Woods made birdies at that par-5 ninth and par-5 11th. He bogeyed both of those holes on Thursday.

Then, he nearly made an ace at the par-3 12th. Watch how close this shot comes to going in. This was from 202 yards away. The most impressive part of the week for me thus far has been Woods' iron play. He has looked smooth and easy with the irons, which is not what I expected coming into the week.

Woods is just outside the top 10 on the leaderboard at 3 under overall after starting in 17th place.
