Dustin Pedroia, Alfredo Aceves exchange words during Boston loss
The sun rises, the sun sets, the Red Sox snipe among themselves ...
This time Saturday night's decisive loss to Oakland occasioned more Red Sox palace intrigue. The source of contention? The positioning of infielders and Alfredo Aceves's authority over same, reports CSNNE.com's Sean McAdam. Aceves and Dustin Pedroia had a fairly heated dugout discussion on the subject, and third-base coach Jerry Royster was eventually moved to separate them. MLB.com has the video.

The 2012 Red Sox, it turns out, are still the 2012 Red Sox.
