The National League has won the past two World Series and three of the past four. That, however, doesn't seem to sway the betting odds. Courtesy of Bovada.lv, the co-favorites to win the World Series right now are the Tigers and Yankees.

A look:

Odds to win the 2012 World Series

New York Yankees 5-2
Detroit Tigers 5-2
San Francisco Giants 11-4
St. Louis Cardinals 3-1

2012 World Series Exact Matchup

New York Yankees vs. San Francisco Giants 2-1
New York Yankees vs. St. Louis Cardinals 5-2
Detroit Tigers vs. San Francisco Giants 11-4
Detroit Tigers vs. St. Louis Cardinals 13-4

So there you have it. If so inclined, bet away when/where legal. Those Tigers-Cardinals odds seem awfully enticing, but there's certainly no sure bet at this point -- especially given what we've seen transpire thus far in the postseason.
