Textbook illustrators use baseball to encourage tobacco use!

Call to action: Textbook illustrators of America are encouraging impressionable youth of America to use smokeless tobacco, and baseball is their vehicle for doing so!

Courtesy of Reddit Baseball comes this snapshot of a geometry textbook dedicated to reducing our children -- yours and most especially mine -- to smoldering ruins (helpful red arrow added by yours truly) ...

There's that familiar yet subtle protuberance! It's the sign of a ballplayer who's no stranger to the pinch between the cheek and gum. Will geometry students of this fine land absorb this unspoken lesson and partake of the Tobacco-Industrial Complex's family of smokeless products? I suppose a snuff tin has a circumference and a diameter, but still ... To the online White House petition machine!
