The Cubs are going to finish the regular season as the best team in baseball by essentially any objective measure. Of course, there are still 11 more wins to go before the ultimate prize, which would break a drought that goes back to the Cubs winning the 1908 World Series.

There is, however, already a fan with the body art celebrating a World Series championship. Des Moines, Iowa's 1460 KXnO along with Lucky Gal Tattoo and Piercing recently held a contest to see what fans would get the premature tattoo. The field was narrowed based upon the designs sent in and this tattoo, for a man named Noel, was chosen:

I'm a big "to each his own" guy, so my only concern would be for him if there's a Cubs loss. That would be painful enough, but the tattoo would then serve as a constant reminder. But hey, there's nothing wrong with going glass half-full and being confident that's not on the table. Rock on, Noel.
