WATCH: The third cycle of the 2017 season belongs to the Rangers' Carlos Gomez
Gomez, who now has two career cycles, joins Wil Myers and Trea Turner as MLBers with cycles this year
On Saturday, Texas Rangers outfielder Carlos Gomez became the third player to hit for the cycle this season. Gomez accomplished the feat, his second cycle, as part of a 6-3 Rangers victory over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Gomez doubled in his first at-bat of the night, and singled in his second. From there, he captured the ever-elusive triple, before completing his night with a two-run home-run against reliever Jose Valdez.
