White Sox outfielder Dayan Viciedo has been on fire since returning from his strained oblique, and Fantasy owners are starting to take notice. Viciedo ended Wednesday's action as one of the most-viewed players in CBSSports.com Fantasy leagues, after hitting his second home run in as many games.

Viciedo is hitting .444 with two home runs, six RBI and as many walks (five) as strikeouts since coming off the disabled list last Friday.

His .288 batting average is being propped up by a .341 batting average on balls in play, so something more in line with last season's .255 average is probably better to expect. If you can stomach a pretty low batting average, Viciedo has shown he can be a solid source of power. Viciedo proved this with 25-homer power a year ago, so I would expect him to be owned in more than his current 46 percent of leagues in the coming days. 

White Sox outfielder Dayan Viciedo homered on Wednesday during a 9-4 win at Minnesota. Viciedo took starter Mike Pelfrey deep for a solo shot in the fourth inning for his fourth homer of the year. 

The outfielder went 2 for 4 with two RBI and added a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Viciedo is batting .288 and has at least one base hit in nine of his last 10 ballgames. He's homered in back-to-back contests and has an RBI in three straight.

Veteran Paul Konerko is getting his second consecutive day of rest, allowing Adam Dunn to play first and Viciedo to slot into the DH spot. Viciedo has played four games since returning from his oblique injury. He's collected five hits over that period. He'll bat fifth against Twins starter Kevin Correia.

White Sox outfielder Dayan Viciedo reached base four times and extended his hitting streak to six games during Chicago's 3-2 loss to the Angels on Saturday night. Viciedo went 3 for 3 with three singles and a walk to raise his batting average from .235 to .278.

In his first two games since missing nearly a month with an oblique injury, Viciedo is 4 for 6 with two walks and two runs while driving in a pair of runs.

In his first game back from the disabled list, White Sox left fielder Dayan Viciedo went 1 for 3 with a double, one run, two RBI and one walk against the Angels Friday.

It was Viciedo's first game since April 18 due to an oblique injury. He has hit .235/.250/.431 in 52 plate appearances this year, and Friday's walk was his first of the season.
