| Guyer to undergo shoulder surgery : Manager Joe Maddon said on Friday that outfielder Brandon Guyer, on the 15-day disabled list, will need surgery on his injured left shoulder, reports the Tampa Bay Times. Guyer has been sidelined since May 16 with his injury. According to the Tampa Tribune, the surgery is scheduled to occur on Thursday, and he will miss the rest of the season. (Updated 05/25/2012) |
