| McLouth agrees to return to Bucs: MLB.com reports that the Pirates agreed to sign OF Nate McLouth to a one-year deal worth $1.75 million on Tuesday. McLouth has played for the Braves for the last two-and-a-half seasons after beginning his major league career in Pittsburgh. He missed the last two months of this past season with a sports hernia, and he struggled with it all season long. McLouth batted just .228 in 81 games. (Updated 12/07/2011) |
