Blue Jays first baseman/DH Adam Lind homered for the seventh time and third time in June Saturday against the Rangers. Lind also collected his seventh multi-hit game this month.

Lind is batting .423 (22 for 52) with a .673 slugging percentage, 1.109 OPS three home runs, four doubles, nine runs and 10 RBI in 12 June games. Lind has been on a roll offensively since early May, producing a .392/.422/.648/1.070 OPS in his last 33 games. His batting average has risen from .220 to .343 in that span.

One person he’s convinced is our Scott White, who said on Fantasy Baseball Today that he’s picking Lind up in his leagues. Nando Di Fino chimed in by saying he’s buying more into Lind than he is Matt Joyce.

Lind's bat remained absolutely on fire in the extra-inning win. He went 3 for 5 with a double and a run scored and has his average up to .344.

The 29-year-old has at least one hit in nine of his last 10 games and is 21 for 47 over that stretch with four doubles, two homers and seven RBI.

Blue Jays first baseman/designated hitter Adam Lind has been more selective at the plate during his hot start. 

Lind is currently walking at a career-high 12.8 percent of his plate appearances, despite seeing a higher percentage of first pitch strikes this year. Lind has been more patient than usual at the plate, swinging less often this year. Overall, Lind's swing percentage is down to a career-low 37.4 percent, according to FanGraphs.com. Lind appears to be waiting for exactly the right pitch before he swings, and making solid contact once he gets something in his zone. 

Lind has never been a high-average candidate for Fantasy owners, and his current success in that area is driven by a .387 BABIP. But even if his average drops considerably, he's still showing improved skills and could continue to post solid numbers in other categories. 

Lind is only owned in 51 percent of CBSSports.com leagues, and is a solid pickup at first base.

Blue Jays first baseman Adam Lind continued swinging a hot bat Sunday during a loss at home against the Rangers. Lind hit a three-run homer off Justin Grimm in the third inning with two outs. 

Lind's sixth HR of the season put the Blue Jays ahead 4-0 at the time in the 6-4 loss. He finished 1 for 4 and is batting .340 on the year. 

Lind went 4 for 7 on Saturday in the extra-inning win over Texas and is on a four-game hitting streak in which he's gone 9 for 17 with four RBI.
