Martin Prado wins it for Yankees late

Yankees infielder Martin Prado played a big part in Friday's 4-3 win over the White Sox.

Prado got the Yankees on the board in the third inning with his two-run home run, and then won it with an RBI single in the ninth. He finished the game 2 for 5 with three RBI and one run scored in the win.

Prado has hit three home runs in 19 games since joining the Yankees, but hasn't done much otherwise. He is hitting just .242/.275/.439 over 66 games with his new club.

Prado struck in the second inning. With a man on, Prado hit a 91 mph fastball out to left for a two-run shot. Prado finished 1 for 3, with one run scored and two RBI.

Martin Prado slugs first Yankee home run Tuesday

Yankees outfielder Martin Prado went 2 for 5 with a double and a solo home run in his team's 4-3 loss to the Tigers Tuesday.

Both extra-base hits, which were Prado's first and second since joining his new team, came off Detroit starter David Price. Prado is 4 for 16 in five games with the Yankees since beign traded. He owns a .270/.317/.375 line with six home runs and 43 RBI in 419 at-bats.
