Angels starter C.J. Wilson struck out 10 in eight innings to get the win Wednesday at home against the Mariners.

Wilson (4-3), who has a 3.39 ERA, allowed a run on a Michael Saunders ground out in the eighth inning of the 7-1 victory. He gave up six hits and walked two in 109 pitches.

The 32-year-old had lost his previous three starts, although he hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in any outing since giving up four on April 9. He's allowed more than three runs once.

Wilson is scheduled to start Monday in Los Angeles against the Dodgers.

Wilson, who made his ninth start of the season, surrendered a solo home run to Alex Rios in the first and a run-scoring single to Conor Gillaspie in the seventh for his only damage of the night. He was charged with two runs and six hits over seven innings of work as he suffered his third loss of the season. He struck out three and walked two in a 3-0 defeat.

Wilson is scheduled to make his next start Wednesday at home against the Mariners. He allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings of work in his last start against Seattle on April 26.

Wilson was dominant early, but faltered late into his outing. He pitched six scoreless innings before allowing three runs in the seventh, including a two-run single to Alexei Ramirez that broke a scoreless game. The left-hander was charged with three runs and six hits over 6 2/3 innings of work as he suffered his second loss of the season. He walked four and struck out three in 107 pitches, 63 strikes.

Wilson (3-2) has allowed three runs or fewer in all but one of his eight starts this season. He has a 3.88 ERA and a 1.54 WHIP in that span. The 32-year-old will get another crack at the White Sox in his next start at home Friday. He is 1-0 with a 4.00 ERA in three starts at home.
