Is it about to be 'Miggy Time' for struggling catcher?
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com

Diamondbacks catcher Miguel Montero continues to search for different methods to break out of his season-long slump, according to MLB.com. On Saturday, Montero tried positive self-talk and was telling everyone it was about to be "Miggy Time."

Unfortunately, Montero had just a single in Saturday's game against the Marlins and is batting .184 on the season.

"He's been battling," manager Kirk Gibson said. "We're going to get him going, he's going to get it going. You start to analyze things, you pretty much cover it A to Z and it gets tough. You have to go up there and not be over-thinking the situation. If you do, it makes it tough, you analyze things you don't need to analyze."

Montero singled in the seventh for his only hit of the night. He struck out twice and finished 1 for 4 in a 3-1 defeat.

Montero has struggled as of late despite Friday's game-winning home run. He is hitting .214 (6 for 28) in May. He has lifted his batting average from .194 to .203 in his last seven games.
