OKLAHOMA CITY -- The emotions are starting to bubble up a little bit on the NBA's biggest stage.

Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star guard Russell Westbrook and Miami Heat forward Shane Battier received double technical fouls during the second quarter of Game 1 of the 2012 Finals at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday night.

Westbrook finished the lay-up, gestured to pump up the baseline crowd and then swatted the ball out of Battier's hands, before continuing to gesture.

The exchange occurred with 31.4 seconds remaining in the second quarter after Westbrook finished a fast break lay-up to cut Miami's lead to 54-47.

Westbrook finished the first half with 9 points on 3-for-10 shooting. Battier entered halftime with 13 points on 5-for-6 shooting in 20 minutes.
