CBSSports.com Basketball Podcast: Lakers and the circus life
Ken Berger attended Lakers camp last week and spoke with Kobe Bryant on the future of this team and his career. He joins the CBSSports.com Basketball Podcast first this week to discuss what Hollywood was like under the circus tent and how the Princeton offense will affect the team this year, let alone the new starpower.
From there, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Times joins in to compare this year's zoo to years prior and discuss if the Lakers' starpower won't just help together, but in allowing the aging stars to get some rest. He also touches on Kobe's assertion that the Lakers are "his team." Oh, and he talks about Metta World Peace running him over.
Finally Darius Soriano of Forum Blue and Gold stops by to check in on the state of Laker Nation and how to manage expectations while allowing the excitement to wash over them.
