In a hotly-contested game between the Grizzlies and Clippers, a continuation of their seven-game series from the playoffs last season, it was tight late. But just as Nick Young and other gunners carried the Clippers to victory last spring, new ClipperJamal Crawford buried the Grizzlies this time. Most especially, Crawford nailed this dagger after breaking Rudy Gay's ankles coming behind a screen. It looks worse than it is. But it's worth watching.
When you first look at it, it seems like Gay slips over the screen, but that's not the case. He doesn't really go for the switchback, but it's like his legs just freeze and then collapse. Anyway, it was a great move by Crawford, who looks like he's going to be a major weapon for the Clippers this year.
