Dwyane Wade (foot) out Thursday against Denver

By Royce Young | NBA writer

It's your show, LeBron.

Dwyane Wade is out for the Heat against the Nuggets on Thursday because of a sprained left foot, Erik Spoelstra told reporters a few hours before tipoff.

Wade suffered the injury Monday against the Rockets after stepping on Chris Bosh's foot, but played through it Wednesday against the Clippers. He aggravated the injury, though, which is why he's sitting Thursday.

This isn't the first injury for Wade this season. He's been dealing with a number of nagging injuries. He missed Miami's Friday game in Atlanta with a cold and appeared to injure his thumb Sunday against Memphis.

Miami will obviously miss Wade, especially considering the Heat are coming off a loss to the Clippers and don't want to drop two in a row. Mike Miller will likely start in Wade's spot.

On the season, Wade is averaging 18.4 points, 4.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 33.9 minutes per game.
