Zach Randolph fined $25,000 for altercation with Kendrick Perkins

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

On Nov. 14, Zach Randolph and Kendrick Perkins were both ejected from the Grizzlies-Thunder game after exchanging the pleasantries you see above.

After the ejection, Randolph and Perkins reportedly found each other near the locker rooms and exchanged more sweet nothings. At first it was believed there was a police investigation due to a possible physical altercation, but those rumors were shot down pretty quickly. The NBA investigated the issue and ruled Monday to fine Randolph for his part in the verbal melee.

Memphis forward Zach Randolph has been fined $25,000 for confronting Oklahoma City's Kendrick Perkins in the lockerroom area following their ejections with 2:05 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Grizzlies at Thunder game on Nov. 14, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations.

No games will be missed and Randolph will be a little lighter in the wallet. There still isn't any word if the two will hold a celebrity cage match this offseason to settle it once and for all while helping out kids in need.
