Chicago Bulls guard Rajon Rondo told reporters he will not play in Wednesday's Game 5 against the Celtics.

Rondo was expected to be out for two weeks after breaking his thumb in Game 2, but reports surfaced Tuesday that he was attempting to play in Game 5. The Bulls previously announced that Isaiah Canaan would get the start at point guard on Wednesday, with the series tied 2-2.
