LOOK: Seahawks' Pete Carroll is a big fan of Steph Curry's new shoes
Pete Carroll confirms that Steph Curry's new shoes seem geared to older people
The Internet unabashedly roasted Stephen Curry's Under Armour Curry Two Low "Chef" shoes. The general consensus was that the shoes look more like "dad shoes" than basketball shoes. Despite the criticism, Curry remains a fan of his shoes and even showed them off during a recent Warriors practice.
The Golden State Warriors star is not alone in admiring his shoes. In fact, Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is also a big fan:
Hey what's the fuss, I think these are some really awesome shoes... Great work @StephenCurry30! pic.twitter.com/7ae127mfKD

Of course at 64 years old, Carroll is the demographic that many joked the shoes were made for, so him liking the shoes isn't that surprising. Plus he usually wears shoes just like Curry's:
Our equipment guys are trying to get me in new shoes... I'm thinking of staying w/ my "Air Paternos"... Thoughts?? pic.twitter.com/gejdMn8byM

Sometimes, the jokes write themselves.
