As you've likely seen either on TV or on social media, most teams in the NBA have developed special handshakes together, often displaying them during pregame introductions or after a win. The Cleveland Cavaliers are one of those teams, yes, but they're on the cutting edge of the handshake game, often displaying elaborate handshakes that look like they require a bachelor's degree in fine arts to master.

For example:

Though they aren't quite on the level of the Detroit Tigers Victor Martinez, it's still pretty impressive.

On Wednesday, their coach, Tyronn Lue, was asked about the handshakes, and if he knew how the guys come up with them. Definitely an interesting question during a time when the same few topics have already been covered in great detail. Unfortunately, Lue doesn't know where they come up with the intricate routines.

One thing he does know, however, is that he wishes his players could remember their defensive schemes that well. After hearing the question, Lue joked, "I wish we could remember some of our defensive schemes that well."

"Guys come to the side, 'Oh, my bad, I forgot,' you know, but they remember all this [makes fake handshake motion] and all that. But I don't know, I don't know where they come up with that stuff."

Burned.
