There's supposedly a ghost (or ghosts) that inhabits the Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City where teams often stay. That's the hotel that Kyrie Irving claimed he got bitten by a bed bug at. Players have complained about the hotel in the past.

However, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban doesn't mind the Skirvin Hotel one bit. He told the Oklahoman before Game 2 of the Mavs' first-round playoff series vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder that the ghosts are "cool" with him.

Last time we were in Dallas we were kind of joking around about The Skirvin when you were on the treadmill. Are you staying at The Skirvin this time around?
“Yep. I’m a fan of ghosts. So when I get a chance, they motivate me when I work out. They talk to me at night there. They’re cool with me.”

Maybe the ghosts have some sort of brilliant app they're developing and they need venture capital funding to bring it to beta.

I'm also trying to understand how he's a fan, if the ghosts "motivate" him during his legandary stairmaster workouts. If you were trying to get away from them, that would make sense. Is he inspired by their ectoplasm?

I, for one, will never be staying in this hotel. Ever. There's a great Springhill Suites that has no paranormal forces. No, thank you.
