The Raptors don't have a good track record in playoff games in Cleveland, so they may have to consider drastic measures.

After losing its last four playoff games in Cleveland by an average of nearly 25 points, Toronto is reportedly strongly considering making changes to its starting lineup by sending DeMarre Carroll and Jonas Valanciunas to the bench in favor of Norman Powell and Jakob Poeltl. As Michael Grange of Sportsnet reports:

According to sources, Raptors head coach Dwane Casey -- desperate to find a way to score enough to keep up with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are averaging 113.4-points points a game through five playoff starts -- is giving strong consideration to sitting both Carroll and Valanciunas for Game 2.

In their place would go Powell and rookie Jakob Poeltl. Powell's role would be to reprise the added ball-handling and shooting that the second-year guard provided the Raptors when he started Games 4-6 against the Milwaukee Bucks while the Austrian rookie would be expected to give Toronto some additional quickness to help on the Cavs pick-and-roll attacks while still maintaining some size to battle the offensive rebounding pressure Cleveland's Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love bring.

For what it's worth, Casey has said that the "predictions" he's seen about the lineup are wrong, but that doesn't mean that changes aren't coming.

Powell started the last three games of the Raptors' opening round series against the Milwaukee Bucks -- all Toronto wins -- with Valanciunas heading to the bench. The big man has struggled mightily in this year's playoffs, sporting averages of 8.9 points and 7.0 rebounds on 47 percent shooting, down from 12.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 56 percent shooting during the regular season.

Powell, meanwhile, has been something of a revelation -- particularly from the 3-point line, where's he's made 12 of 18 this postseason.

Adding Poeltl to the lineup would be a slight upgrade from Valanciunas in pick-and-roll defense, but would give the Raptors virtually no inside scoring presence. A lineup of Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, Serge Ibaka, Powell and Poeltl also raises one very important question: Who will guard LeBron James?

With P.J. Tucker having one of his best games since being traded to the Raptors in Monday's loss (13 points, 11 rebounds in 26 minutes), it seems like Tucker stepping into the starting lineup for Carroll would be the more logical move given his ability to somewhat bother LeBron on the defensive end. But going incredibly small with Ibaka at the five and Powell and Tucker at the forwards could allow Cavs offensive rebounding machine Tristan Thompson to feast.

There's no perfect answer against this Cleveland team, but changes might be on the way for Wednesday's Game 2.
