Just once I'd like to hear that a team's meeting with a key free agent went poorly. "Sources say that (player)'s reaction to their presentation was 'What was that? Were you even trying? Why not just cancel the meeting?'"

Just one time, one day.

That day is not this day.

The Warriors met with Kevin Durant on Friday, and just as it was with the Thunder and Clippers, word is that things went great:

This doesn't mean much since every team is going to leak the same sentiment. But it's at least notable that the meeting didn't crash and burn.

However, it wasn't all roses either. ESPN reports the Warriors couldn't get a read on what Durant thought.

Is this really worse than the report that Durant was "blown away" by the Clippers? Will it wind up swinging him? Did Durant really learn that much from these meetings that he didn't know going in? Probably not.

But either way, Durant met with the Warriors, and the possibility of him joining a team that won 73 games and was one win away from a second title before suffering the greatest collapse in NBA Finals history is very real.

My biggest question, though, is if Durant knew Draymond Green was coming to the meeting, did he wear a cup?
