WATCH: Joel Embiid throws down a hammer, then hits the three
Sixers star rookie is finally on the court and dazzling
The Sixers may be without rookie Ben Simmons for the foreseeable future, but their other rookie, the one they drafted in 2014, continues to impress. Joel "The Process" Embiid got off to a hot start vs. the Cavaliers Saturday with seven first quarter points, including this hammer dunk.

But wait, there's more! As if the hammer dunk isn't enough, the big man hit the trailer 3-pointer. Because it has been mandated that every great big can now shoot as well.
Embiid remains on a minutes restriction, and every time he winces, even a little bit, Philadelphia's collective heart will stop. But he's also showing great things early, and if he can stay healthy, his ability to make plays like this are what had everyone going gaga over his potential as a prospect.
The Process is thriving in Philadelphia.
