| Landry sidelined 3-4 weeks: New Orleans F Carl Landry will miss the next three to four weeks with an MCL sprain, the team announced. Landry suffered the injury Saturday night against Detroit after a collision with Jason Maxiell in the third quarter. The Hornets signed F Lance Thomas to a 10-day contract in his place. | Landry's loss is not a huge blow for New Orleans as his production has dropped since the beginning of the season to 11.5 points per game. The Hornets have also provided increased playing time to rookie F Gustavo Ayon. Fantasy owners should keep Landry reserved only in deeper formats. (Updated 02/06/2012). |
