Lakers' Metta World Peace: Not seeing rotation time
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

World Peace (coach's decision) didn't play in Wednesday's 112-93 loss to the Kings.

World Peace joined Larry Nance (knee) on the inactive list for the contest and appears to be the 15th man on the roster at this point. He's only appeared in two of the Lakers' last 23 games.

Lakers' Metta World Peace: Logs another DNP on Tuesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Metta World Peace (coach's decision) was inactive for Tuesday's win over the Bucks.

World Peace hasn't played in the Los Angeles Lakers ' last four games. It looks like he'll remain out of the rotation now that Kobe Bryant seems healthier after frequently resting earlier in the season.

Lakers' Metta World Peace: Matches season high in minutes played
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Metta World Peace scored seven points (2-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) in 27 minutes of action in Sunday's loss to Indiana.

World Peace's 27 minutes Sunday matched his season high for any game, and they were his season high in games coming off the bench. Though his shooting wasn't very good it did mark the most shots the forward has taken this year. Previously the forward was only seeing large minute totals in games where Kobe Bryant was resting, but his time off the bench could make him a consistent player in deeper leagues.

Lakers' Metta World Peace: Will start Monday in Pheonix
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Metta World Peace will start in place of the resting Kobe Bryant Monday in Pheonix, Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News reports.

World Peace played 22 and 27 minutes in the last two games he filled in for Bryant. That is about 10 more minutes than he averages with Bryant in the lineup. He'll look to take advantage of the likely extra playing time Monday.

Lakers' Metta World Peace: Scores nine points
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Metta World Peace started for the resting Kobe Bryant and posted nine points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 27 minutes of action Wednesday against the Magic.

World Peace had another solid outing, contributing in every category, and he apparently made the most of his minutes with Bryant resting. He's not a permanent starter on the Los Angeles Lakers , but he could potentially be a regular part of the rotation getting 15-20 minutes a night when all is said and done.
