  • Turkoglu likely finished in Orlando: Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu appeared in just 11 games this season, due to a combination of injuries and a league-mandated suspension, and it appears his days with the team are over. Prior to Wednesday's finale against Miami, Turkoglu told the Orlando Sentinel that he would be surprised if the team opts to bring him back next season. "I'd be surprised, man. I would be really surprised. It's not like something that I'll take personal at all," he said. "Sometimes, the business of basketball makes certain things happen. One of them is the way they're trying to get a new team, a new rebuilding situation. You have plenty of players in that position [at small forward]. I would love to [return], but I just don't see any reason for [them doing] it." Turkoglu is under contract for next season, but only half of the $12 million he is owed is guaranteed.

    Turkoglu should not have much trouble finding work at the end of someone's bench next season, but it would be a surprise if he is used in anything more than a reserve role. Turkoglu is 34 and coming off a season in which he averaged just 2.9 points per game, so he will have to prove he is worthy of anything more. Turkoglu will not be a recommended Fantasy target on Draft Day next season.
