Jazz's Joe Johnson: Leads all scorers in Game 4 win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Johnson scored 28 points (12-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go along with five rebounds, five assists and one steal across 35 minutes of action during Sunday's 105-98 win over the Clippers.

Johnson enjoyed one of his most dynamic postseason performances in years, leading all scorers in this one while pacing his team in field goal attempts and scoring 12 of his points in the final 7:37 of the fourth quarter to help put the game away. His veteran track record has vaulted him to the top of Utah's go-to options for scoring and he will head into Game 5 averaging 19.3 points per game on 56 percent shooting.

Jazz's Joe Johnson: Provides 15 points in Game 3 loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Johnson supplied 15 points (6-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 34 minutes in Friday's 111-106 loss to the Clippers in Game 3 of the series.

Johnson was the only bench player on either side to hit double figures in scoring, and should continue to regularly see around 30 minutes for the duration of the Jazz's postseason run. While the 35-year-old is in the decline phase of his career, his penchant for clutch scoring and ability to serve as a secondary playmaker alongside starting point guard George Hill makes him a valuable bench piece.

Jazz's Joe Johnson: Hits buzzer-beater in Game 1 win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Johnson posted 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block over 31 minutes in Saturday's 97-95 victory over the Clippers in Game 1 of the Western Conference first-round playoffs.

The veteran came up huge when it mattered most, draining a shot at the buzzer over Jamal Crawford and DeAndre Jordan to secure the series-opening victory for the Jazz. His scoring total also served as a team high for the Jazz, which lost Rudy Gobert to a knee injury on the first play of the game. If Gobert is forced to miss Game 2 on Tuesday night, Johnson could be counted on for additional scoring contributions off the bench once again.

Jazz's Joe Johnson: Produces bench-leading scoring total Monday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Johnson totaled 19 points (7-14 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal over 28 minutes in Monday's 105-99 win over the Warriors.

The 35-year-old continues to sport the hot hand from the field and he's now posted double-digit scoring in five straight games. Johnson has hit at least 50 percent of his shots in three of those contests and has been particularly lethal from behind the arc, draining 63.3 percent of his 30 three-point attempts in five April games. His experience and scoring contributions off the bench figure to play a pivotal role in the Jazz's postseason fortunes.

Jazz's Joe Johnson: Leads bench in scoring Saturday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Johnson poured in 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt) and added one rebound and one block over 24 minutes in Saturday's 101-86 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Johnson's scoring total led the second unit and represented yet another solid offensive performance on the part of the 16-year veteran. The 35-year-old has hit double digits in the scoring column in all four April contests, averaging 15.3 points over that span. Johnson has also had the hot hand from long range, with Saturday's 3-for-6 effort from behind the arc bringing his three-point success rate to 60.8 percent (14-for-23) over the aforementioned four-game stretch.
