| Okur had epidural on back: New Jersey C Mehmet Okur received an epidural on his ailing back earlier this week and could return to the team in the next few days, according to The (Bergen, N.J.) Record. Okur visited a doctor on Monday, but the Nets did not reveal the procedure he had to help his back. (Updated 02/10/2012) |

| Okur is expected to be re-evaluated on Sunday, but the Nets have not set a timetable for his return to game action. He has been sidelined since Jan. 27, but his subpar production has not been missed as he was averaging just 7.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game prior to the injury.
