  • Blake to remain starter : Coach Mike Brown told reporters on Friday night that he has no plans to move guard Ramon Sessions into the starting lineup anytime soon. Sessions, who made his debut for the Lakers against Minnesota, finished with seven points, five assists and three turnovers in 19 minutes. "I don't want to guarantee anything or put anything in stone because I don't know if it's healthy to do that all the time," Lakers coach Mike Brown said following the team's film session and light voluntary practice on Saturday. "It's definitely Steve's (Blake)job for the foreseeable future and it might be his job for the rest of the year. I don't know." The Blake era did not get off to a great start after Brown's vote of confidence, as he failed to score on Sunday in 27 minutes. He was clearly outplayed by Sessions against the Jazz, even with Sessions also having an off night.

    Fantasy Analysis
Blake has been tabbed the starting point guard for the Lakers and if he you listen to coach Brown, it sounds like it is his job to lose. However, most feel he will -- quickly-- and even if he doesn't Session will take away some of his minutes. The situation for Blake seems to be tenuous at best, and he will certainly need to play better moving forward to keep his job. Even as the starter, Fantasy owners can continue to ignore the 31-year-old in all formats at this point in the season.

There's a moment when you watch a great team play where it hits you. These guys have it. There's something to this young Thunder team. Something intangible, something incredible. They don't quit, don't stop, don't go quietly.
May 17, 2012: Thunder rally late, stun Lakers for 2-0 lead in West semis

May 17, 2012: Instant Analysis: Oklahoma City closes on a 9-0 run to steal Game 2 from the Lakers
