Rockets forward Josh Smith posted a double-double on Wednesday against the Clippers. 

Smith shot 8-17 from the field, including 2-7 from beyond the arc. He sunk three of his five free throws, finishing with 21 points. He was active on the boards, picking up 13 rebounds. Smith was able to spread his rebounds evenly between the offensive and defensive end of the court. Smith also added four assists, two blocks and one steal during the contest.

Rockets forward Josh Smith scored 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting, including 4 of 5 from 3-point range, in Houston's 117-111 win over the Bucks Friday. 

Smith also grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out eight assists in the contest. It was Smith's ninth double-double of the season and second since joining the Rockets. 

"Josh is one of the guys you can throw the ball to in the middle when they're double-teaming, and he just makes plays," Rockets head coach Kevin McHale said.

He was two assists short of his first triple-double since the 2010-2011 season.

"I was just trying to be available for the pocket pass, knowing that they were going to double-team James," Smith said.

Rockets small forward Josh Smith scored 15 points on 6 of 13 shooting while hauling in 10 rebounds in his team's 93-87 win over the Celtics Friday.

The double-double was Smith's first since coming to Houston and his seventh of the season. He also managed to tally three assists, two blocks and one steal in 31 minutes off the bench. The Rockets will look for a fifth straight win Saturday against the Pistons.

Rockets small forward Josh Smith scored a team-high 18 points on 7 of 13 shooting, including 4 of 5 shooting from behind the arc, in his team's 99-94 win over the Mavericks Wednesday.

Posting his best scoring performance since Jan. 5, Smith made a season-high four three-pointers after entering the game with just a 23.3 percent success rate (17-for-73) from behind the arc. ''I'm starting to find my way," Smith said after the game, per the Associated Press, "starting to find spacing and other avenues to be productive and efficient."

Smith also tallied six rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal in 28 minutes Wednesday. The Rockets take a three-game winning streak into Friday's matchup with the Celtics.

Smith received consecutive technicals, and was kicked out of the game. He played 14 minutes, scoring five points.
