Spurs' David Lee: Double-doubles in win vs. Cavaliers
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Lee supplied 14 points (7-11 FG), 11 rebounds, three assists and one block across 36 minutes during a 118-115 overtime victory against the Cavaliers on Saturday.

Lee got his second consecutive start for the injured Pau Gasol (finger) and went for his second consecutive double-double. He also received more than 30 minutes for the second game in a row after he hadn't played over 30 minutes once all season. The minutes look to be there with Gasol sidelined indefinitely, and Lee will likely continue to provide nice all-around numbers in the Spaniard's absence.

Spurs' David Lee: Posts double-double in emergency start Thursday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Lee generated 10 points (5-7 FG), 16 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block over 33 minutes in Thursday's 118-104 win over the Nuggets.

Lee was called into emergency duty when Pau Gasol broke the ring finger on his non-shooting hand during pregame warmups in a collision with teammate Kyle Anderson. It was Lee's fourth game with double-digit rebounds on the season, and it remains to be seen if he'll now be in for a string of starting opportunities in Gasol's stead. The 12-year veteran will undoubtedly see a bump in minutes at a minimum for the time being, but Dewayne Dedmon, who's been effective off the bench all season, could also potentially see time in the starting five while Gasol remains sidelined.

Spurs' David Lee: Starting Thursday vs. Nuggets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Lee will be inserted into the starting lineup Thursday against the Nuggets, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Pau Gasol injured his finger in the pregame layup line and went to the locker room, and apparently it's enough of a concern to give Lee the nod as the starter. It's possible that Gasol will come back mid-game and absorb some of his normal minutes, but Lee seems to be the go-to guy for the time being.

Spurs' David Lee: Will return to bench role Thursday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Lee will return to the bench for Thursday's game against the Lakers, Paul Garcia of Project Spurs reports.

Lee drew the spot start on Tuesday against the Bucks, posting 10 points and seven rebounds over 26 minutes with LaMarcus Aldridge sitting out with an illness. However, Aldridge is back to full strength and will rejoin the starting lineup, which pushes Lee back to his normal bench role. Lee's demotion should bring him down to minutes in the upper-teen's, which takes him off the radar in the majority of fantasy formats.

Spurs' David Lee: Posts 10 points in start vs. Milwaukee
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Lee (knee) returned from a one-game absence and went for 10 points (5-6 FG), seven rebounds, one assist and one block across 26 minutes during a 109-107 loss to the Bucks on Tuesday.

Lee got the start with LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) held out and finished three rebounds shy of a double-double. It was his third start of the season and he saw his highest minute total since Dec. 14. Lee would likely get another start against the Lakers on Thursday if Aldridge is forced to sit out another game.
