Report: Teammates fear Bucs DE Adrian Clayborn might have season-ending injury

By Josh Katzowitz | NFL Writer

After Adrian Clayborn left Sunday's game with what was termed a right leg injury, his Buccaneers teammates fear the defensive end's injury might be a bad one. The Tampa Bay Times reports that several in the Tampa Bay organization are worried the injury could end his season.

After the game, a reportedly emotional Clayborn was wearing a leg brace that went from his ankle to his thigh.

“He's the beast on our defense,” defensive tackle Gerald McCoy said. “You can always expect a big hit from him or a dynamic play of some sort. That's what he means to our defense.”

Coach Greg Schiano said the team would know more about the injury Monday.
