Rams quarterback Sam Bradford lost his favorite target, wide receiver Danny Amendola, midway through the second quarter, after Amendola landed on his shoulder while diving for a pass. The Rams fear Amendola suffered a broken collarbone and he could face a long-term absence, a team source told CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. The extent of the injury will be known Monday, the source said.

Last season, Amendola suffered a triceps injury in Week 1 and eventually landed on injured reserve.

The former Texas Tech star went undrafted after his senior season but made an impression as a rookie during Cowboys training camp in 2008. He spent the year on Dallas' practice squad, and was signed to the Philadelphia's practice squad in Sept. 2009 before St. Louis inked him to their 53-man roster a few weeks later.

In 35 games with the Rams, Amendola has 161 receptions for 1,411 yards and six touchdowns. He's also a dangerous returner averaging for his career 11.1 yards per punt return and 23.7 yards per kick return.
