Jeffery appeared to choose Marshall over Cutler. (USATSI)

Are Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall feuding? And is Alshon Jeffery -- Cutler's No. 1 receiver and Marshall's good friend -- caught in the middle of their breakup?

Probably not. But I'm not saying I wouldn't watch a reality show centered around Cutler, Marshall, and Jeffery.

Anyways, according to The Chicago Sun-Times, Cutler and members of the Bears' offense recently met up in Nashville so that they could all work together before the start of training camp. Except, it certainly looks like Jeffery decided to skip the workouts and trained with Marshall -- now a member of the Jets -- instead.

Here's a photo of Cutler, tight end Martellus Bennett, wide receiver Eddie Royal, and other members of the Bears offense at a restaurant in Nashville.

And here's a photo of Bennett and Cutler, with Bennett's caption alluding to the team's workouts at Vanderbilt, which is located in Nashville.

Now, you might have noticed that Jeffery, who is expected to be the Bears' No. 1 receiver in 2015, wasn't in any of those photos. But Jeffery did make an appearance in this video, which was posted by Marshall.

So, it certainly appears that Jeffery chose to train with Marshall instead of Cutler and the gang.

Now, I know this article is peak off-season material, but allow me to explain.

Sure, I do think it would've been a better sign if Jeffery had been down in Nashville with the team, especially considering there is a bunch of brand new parts in the offense, including a new coach and playbook. But I seriously doubt this is going to affect the chemistry between Cutler and Jeffery. The two have been playing catch for a few seasons now and have done just fine together. A few reps in July probably won't matter once the season begins.

Furthermore, Jeffery has often credited Marshall for helping him develop, which means it probably makes sense for Jeffery to continue learning from Marshall, who has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in the league for the past several seasons. And, besides, we don't even know if Jeffery is planning on joining the boys down in Nashville later. There are still three more weeks or so until training camp, so let's not rush to conclusions just yet.

So, after further review, Jeffery's actions are, as far as I'm concerned, totally OK. Though, concerning the relationship status of Cutler and Marshall, I've only seen inconclusive evidence thus far, so I will continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
