The Denver Broncos' quarterback situation is the most hotly debated situation in the NFL right now. We already outlined several alternatives for Denver outside of trading for Colin Kaepernick but maybe there's a new spicy one: Johnny Manziel.
No, this is not an "Onion" article. The Broncos and coach Gary Kubiak reached out to Manziel according to a report from ESPN's Jeff Legwold. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Kubiak spoke to Manziel a month ago, but nothing came of it.

Of important note here: Kubiak is a Texas A&M alum. He played football there. One of the more prominent players on his team, Von Miller, is a former Aggie star and teammate of Manziel's who once suggested Johnny could land in Denver.

There is no chance the Broncos, coming off a Super Bowl victory, are going to turn to Manziel. Zero chance. They may have spoken but it's not happening.
Trevor Siemian is more likely to start for the Broncos than Johnny Manziel.
