The Dallas Cowboys will be without guard La'el Collins for the next several months, as the second-year player reportedly tore a ligament in his right foot.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Collins will be out the next 6-to-10 weeks and could need surgery after suffering a foot injury against the Bears on Sunday night.

Collins fell out of the 2015 NFL Draft because of off-field concerns, and the Cowboys scooped him up after the draft. He's since turned into a pancaking machine (with shoes to match!), a dominant and physical interior lineman for the best offensive line in football.

He suffered a toe injury late against Chicago on Sunday, and said after the game he could barely put weight on the foot.

"I couldn't really put any weight on it at all," Collins said. "I just went out there and tried to do my best. I didn't want to come out at the half, but I had to do what's best. They wanted to get it checked out. I didn't want to mess it up even worse."

The Cowboys played Sunday night without Tyron Smith as well, and still managed to look like an impressive offensive unit.

They need this offensive line in a bad way, though, because they're still trotting out Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Both rookies are very good, but they need that offensive line to maximize their ability.
