Dez Bryant declares himself ready to play in Cowboys' next game against Eagles
The Cowboys' No. 1 receiver hasn't played since Week 3
The next time the Cowboys take their field, they'll be joined by star receiver Dez Bryant -- at least according to Bryant himself. Moments after the Cowboys closed out a 30-16 win over the Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday, Bryant declared himself ready to play in his team's next game against the Eagles.
That game won't come until Oct. 30, as the Cowboys will enjoy a Week 7 bye.
As Dez Bryant walks off field he finds me and tells me "Don't have to ask me anymore, I'm good...playing against Philly"

Bryant, who's recovering from a hairline fracture in his knee, hasn't played since Week 3. The funny thing is, the Cowboys don't necessarily even need Bryant. Despite being down Bryant and Tony Romo, the Cowboys have sprinted out to a 5-1 record.
Having Bryant again will help, of course. Especially now that rookie quarterback Dak Prescott looks even more comfortable than he was at the beginning of the season. In those first three games, Prescott connected with Bryant for just 11 catches, 150 yards, and a touchdown.
It's also possible that Bryant will be catching passes from Romo, who is also on track with his recovery. But we won't get into that controversy, at least not yet.
For now, Cowboys fans should celebrate their hot start to the season and the impending return of Bryant.
