Jets' Bryce Petty leaves game after huge hit by Cameron Wake and Ndamukong Suh
Ryan Fitzpatrick is in the game, which the Jets are losing, 34-13
Bryce Petty is supposed to finish the season as the Jets' starting quarterback. Unless, of course, he suffers an injury, which is what happened Saturday night against the Dolphins.
In the fourth quarter, Petty was absolutely destroyed by Cameron Wake and Ndamukong Suh. This wasn't an ordinary hit by two pass-rushers that know how to hit quarterbacks. This was one of the worst sandwich hits a quarterback has possibly ever taken.
They demolished him:

Petty is alive, but he was listed as questionable to return. The Jets did not say which part of his body Petty hurt, but I'm guessing he's hurting all over. He ended up going 20 of 36 for 235 yards, one touchdown, two picks, and a 61.7 passer rating.
So, the Ryan Fitzpatrick briefly got back underway on Saturday. Yay.
