The offseason rivalry between Josh Norman and Odell Beckham is almost as intense as their rivalry on the field.

The trash talk between the two continued this week when Beckham said that he's the only reason that Norman has become relevant.

"If I wasn't playing him twice a year, maybe people wouldn't bring it up as much," Beckham said of their rivalry, during an interview with GQ. "But now it'll be a lot more media attention for him, attention that I don't really look for, attention that I don't need. The reason he's become so relevant is because of me."

Beckham also added that the only reason Norman signed with the Redskins was so he could face Beckham twice a year.

"For sure," Beckham said. "I mean, it's a smart business move for him."

As you can imagine, Norman didn't quite agree with that take. During a Facebook Live interview with Business Insider on Thursday, Norman responded to Beckham's comments with a hearty laugh.

"I don't even know how you respond to that other than laugh," Norman said. "I don't know what you get out of that. I mean, I don't know, man. There's a time when people who honor themselves will fall short, so when that day comes, we'll just see."

Norman was then asked if he was excited for his two games against the Giants, and all he could do was smile.

A little bit later on Thursday, Norman added some actual trash talk during an appearance at a charity basketball game in New Jersey.

"He's relevant because of a catch," Norman said, via the New York Daily News. "But we're not gonna go there. I'm not into the war of words. Sept. 25 we're gonna put that to the test. We're gonna see what that look like."

The feud between Norman and Beckham basically means that both of the Redskins-Giants games will be must-see TV this season. The two teams are scheduled to play each other in Week 3 (Sept. 25 at New York) and Week 17 (Jan. 1 at Washington).

Just in case you need a refresher, the rivalry between the two players started on Dec. 20, when the Giants were hosting the Panthers. Back in Week 14 of 2015, things got ugly after Norman shut Beckham down during the first half.

Beckham responded by completely unraveling in the third quarter. The Giants receiver was flagged three times for unnecessary roughness, with one of those penalties coming after Beckham hit Norman with a direct helmet-to-helmet shot.

Norman also got flagged once for unnecessary roughness during the third-quarter spat.

Beckham's outburst led to a one-game suspension for the receiver.

At one point this offseason, Norman said that his rivalry with Beckham was about stolen bologna. He was being metaphorical. I think.

Anyway, you can see the entire Norman interview below. The conversation turns to Beckham near the 12-minute mark.
