LOOK: Apparently Takkarist McKinley takes that photo of his grandmother everywhere
McKinley promised his late grandmother that he would make the NFL, and he did
Takkarist McKinley was one of the stars of the first night of the 2017 NFL Draft.
McKinley promised his late grandmother before she passed away that he would make it to the NFL, and Thursday night that promise was fulfilled. In her remembrance, McKinley brought a framed photo of her to the draft with him, and he actually brought it up on the stage as he went to shake the commissioner's hand and receive his Atlanta Falcons jersey.

It was a great, great draft night moment.
With draft night in the rearview mirror, one might have thought that McKinley was done carrying the photo of his grandmother around. One would be wrong.
He brought it on the plane to Atlanta as well:

McKinley is making sure grandma gets the full NFL experience, and it's pretty awesome.
