LOOK: Chiefs' Marcus Peters picks off Russell Wilson in the end zone
Defensive Rookie of the Year Marcus Peters is picking up right where he left off in 2015
If the first series for the Chiefs' defense in a mostly meaningless preseason game is any indication, defending Defensive Rookie of the Year Marcus Peters is still very, very good at his job.
Here's the cornerback picking up from where he left off in 2015:

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson had Peters beat, but was a little late on the throw, allowing the cornerback to recover and make the interception.
Heading into the 2015 NFL Draft, Peters was arguably the best draft-eligible cornerback, but he also had been suspended one game from his University of Washington team and was later dismissed altogether because of conflicts with the coaching staff.
But Peters said and did all the right things in the weeks and months leading up to the draft, and impressed just about every NFL team he interviewed with or worked out for. The Chiefs thought enough to draft him 18th overall. The 23-year-old started 16 regular season games and made 60 tackles, defended 26 passes, and had eight interceptions -- including two pick-sixes. Peters also started the Chiefs' two playoff games, where he defended three passes and had an interception.
"The Chiefs stole a draft pick last year," Peters said in February after winning DROY honors. "I knew I was the best defensive player going into last year's draft. ... I knew the Chiefs organization would allow me to be myself."
Peters being himself appears to be working out pretty well.
