LOOK: Greg Olsen auctions off his custom Camaro, raises $100K for charity
The Panthers tight end sells his car for a good cause
I don't know that much about cars, but Greg Olsen's former car looks pretty sweet. It's a 1969 custom Chevrolet Camaro, and it's also a convertible.
Unfortunately, Olsen no longer owns this car:
Fortunately, he parted ways with the Camaro in pretty much the best possible way. He auctioned it off at a charity event for $100,000. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go to charity.
Take a look:
As ESPN chronicled in the past, Olsen's son helps keep everything in perspective for the Panthers tight end. As of 2014, Olsen's son, who was born with hypo-plastic left heart syndrome, has had four open heart surgeries performed on him.
"It puts a lot of things in perspective," Olsen said in 2014, later adding, "We've learned a lot about ourselves as a family about perseverance and continuing to be mentally strong and continue to take the good with the bad and wake up the next day and do it all over again."
