LOOK: Here's Vince Wilfork butt naked on the cover of ESPN's Body Issue
The big-boned Texans nose tackle says he hopes to inspire confidence for his plus-sized peers
The sexiest man in the Lone Star State might very well be Houston Texans defensive end Vince Wilfork. We got to see the big man prance around his overalls during "Hard Knocks" last year, but he's taken it to a whole new level in the latest ESPN the Magazine issue.
Wilfork appears on the cover of the magazine in all his naked glory, appearing to be at the start of a 40-yard dash (or some sprint down the field) in his birthday suit.

Stupid sexy Wilfork.

Wilfork also did a pretty swell interview about the issue and about being as large as he is with ESPN's Morty Ain, in which he was asked (watch video here) about baring it all for the public to see.
And Wilfork said he believes the mag will give people a different idea about what he looks like:
A lot of people look at me as a big person. Some people consider me to be obese. Some people consider me fat and sloppy. But I think this shoot will give people a different look at what I am. Everybody knows that I have a big stomach, but I think sometimes that overshadows everything else on my body -- from my calves to my back to my shoulders to my biceps, you name it. What people go to the gym and work for, I have. The only thing I don't have that they got is six-packs. But I really don't care about six-packs.
And Wilfork thinks he can inspire confidence in others too by showing them the beauty of a 325-pound man taking his clothes off for public consumption.
I just think it's a good idea for people that are bigger-boned. If people can look at me, a guy that's 325-plus, doing an issue like this, I'm pretty sure that they might have a little confidence. There will be critics, just like with everything else. I think a lot of people will get a laugh out of it, I'll tell you that. I'm looking forward to what the locker room's going to say. But at the end of the day, I'm perfectly fine with who I am as a person and what I have accomplished. It shows a lot of my personality.
Let's not forget, this is a dude who isn't like, fat. He's pretty daggum strong too.

And he's funny. The kicker to the whole interview is when Wilfork, along with his wife Bianca Wilfork (BW) is asked what it's like to be his size in everyday life.
VW: People who don't know me, when they see me they kind of step back and just stare at me and say, "Dang, he's a big dude."
BW: Good thing you are an athlete, because if not, then they would just be looking at you for your size [laughs].
VW: True fans and guys who follow the sport, they know who I am. But sometimes I do get those people that look at me and kind of stop and just stare at me, which I hate.
BW: And then they'll say, "Do you play ball?" and he'll tell them no, he's a gynecologist.
VW: Yes, that's what I do.
Gold, Jerry. Absolute gold.
