CHARLOTTE -- In a weird, kind of scary and definitely what-the-heck moment at the Panthers-Colts game on Monday night, a pair of "fans" rappelled off the top deck of Bank of America Stadium and unfurled a banner while hanging in mid-air during the third quarter.

The sign read "DUMP DOMINION" with a reference to Dominion North Carolina Power and a website WeAreCovePoint.org. (The site has since crashed.) The protesters hung in mid-air over the crowd for almost an entire quarter.

Multiple police members moved the crowd from underneath them and stood below the protesters, communicating with them to no avail. They eventually came down and were arrested.

Letting some fans get into the game with rappelling gear is probably not going to sit well with the Panthers, much less the NFL.
